The new film from Peter Strickland (In Fabric, Berberian Sound Studio, Duke of Burgundy) premieres this week at the Berlin Film Festival and IFC Films has released a teaser trailer to offer an idea of what delights it has to offer.
Flux Gourmet stars Asa Butterfield, Gwendoline Christie and Richard Bremmer, and if Strickland’s previous work is anything to go by, the new film is sure to be darkly humorous, weird, and beautifully put together.
Since his first feature Katalin Varga in 2009, Strickland has built up a reputation as an auteur with unique vision and style. Surprises are usually in store for his audience, with captivating levels of colour and visual texture crossing art house and genre cinema.

Flux Gourmet is scheduled to premiere February 11th at the Berlin Film Festival as part of the festival’s Encounters program. A general release in cinemas and home streaming is expected in the summer.
