Peter Weller’s RoboCop returns with trailer for RoboCop: Rogue City

July 9, 2022 by Gary Collinson

He may have turned down the opportunity of a big screen return for director Neill Blomkamp’s aborted sequel RoboCop Returns, but Peter Weller will be back serving the public trust, protecting the innocent and upholding the law next year as he reprises his role as the future of law enforcement for the video game RoboCop: Rogue City.

Developed by Teyon and published by Nacon, RoboCop: Rogue City is a first person shooter which will see gamers taking on the role of Weller’s Alex Murphy/RoboCop to bring order to the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. Check out the gameplay reveal trailer below…

Welcome to Detroit; crime runs rampant as the city lies on the edge of ruin, people fighting for scraps as others live extravagant lives of luxury. Control of the Detroit Police Department is given to the Omni Consumer Products corporation in an attempt to restore order. You are that solution, RoboCop, a cyborg tasked with protecting the city.

RoboCop: Rogue City is set for release on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in June 2023.
