Physics-based mountain climber Hang Line now available for Android and iOS

January 16, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Ed Kay (former member of Epic Games and LucasArts) and publisher Yodo1 have announced the release of Hang Line, the ultimate extreme physics action climber, on Android and iOS devices.  Hang Line is an adventure that sees players climb perilous heights in daring rescue missions.  Check out the new trailer below…

Hang Line is a huge climbing adventure spread through over 50 levels set across five dangerous mountain environments.  Players will need to outfit their squad of rescuers, fly to the summit in their helicopter and use their trusty grappling hook to save more than 80 stranded survivors from the frozen peaks.  Saving stranded climbers will reward players with money which can be used to purchase better equipment which can withstand harsher elements.

The mountains are a dangerous place and besides the deadly drops, players will need to watch out for a variety of other hazards, including mountain lions, falling rocks, razor sharp ice sheets and molten lava.  Angry goats are also best to be avoided unless their butting talents can prove useful.

“Hang Line was designed as a way for me to capture the primal exhilaration of climbing with a simple and intuitive control scheme that anyone can learn in an instant,” said Ed Kay, “Of course learning is only the beginning. Mastering Hang Line’s challenging, hand-crafted levels is where the fun truly lies.”

Hang Line can be downloaded now for free from Google Play and the App Store.
