Netflix has announced that Pierce Brosnan has joined Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams in the cast of director David Dobkin’s (Wedding Crashers) upcoming comedy Eurovision.
Scripted by Ferrell and Andrew Steele, Eurovision will see Ferrell and McAdams as Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir, two aspiring Icelandic musicians who are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world’s biggest song competition and finally have a chance to prove that any dream worth having is a dream worth fighting for.
Former 007 Brosnan will take on the role of Erick Erickssong, Lars’ father and the most handsome man in Iceland.

Filming on Eurovision is underway now, with the project shooting in the UK and Iceland.
