With Luffy reaching Gear 5 in the One Piece anime, Bandai Namco has made it so players of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 can also enjoy this awakened form by releasing The Battle of Onigashima Pack. This latest character pack brings three extremely powerful characters to the roster:
Luffy (Onigashima Battle) – As the Captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and the future King of the Pirates, Luffy is in battle against Kaido, the most powerful enemy on Onigashima. It is during this crucial battle with the tyrant of Wano that Luffy awakens his Devil Fruit and manages to reach Gear 5. Players using Luffy (Onigashima Battle) will be able to transform temporarily into this epic form.
Kaido (Onigashima Battle) – The Human-Beast form of Kaido makes this already deadly character even more devastating. Kaido’s abilities give him increased strength and this is shown by the immense destructive power of his Haki and his iron mace. Players using Kaido will be able to use special moves and combos to attack without giving the opponent a chance to retaliate. Kaido’s Dragon Form will allow him to target multiple enemies at once during aerial attacks.
Yamato – Yamato is the son of Kaido and an incredibly strong character (having gone head to head with Kaido in battle and surviving). Players using Yamato will be able to use their giant mace to make a range of attacks, and also use his Human-Beast Form to make quick combo attacks and ice attacks that can freeze enemies in place.
The Battle of Onigashima Pack is available to purchase now and is part of Character Pass 2. Players who own Character Pass 2 will also get access to Onigashima Battle Law Costume as a bonus item.
