Play Fromto for free next week in the open beta

April 26, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Headup Games and Studio Erikson have announced the open beta for their 2D party racing game Fromto will start on Steam on 2nd May.  This beta will be free for everyone and anyone interested just needs to head to the game’s Discord Channel here.

Fromto is a 2D sandbox racing game for up to four friends that sees players choose their vehicle and race on an unfinished track in turn.  Once everyone fails to complete the race they will need to modify the track, building sneaky routes and placing tons of different track parts to win.  Players can try and trick their opponents with a variety of traps and obstacles in order to get to the finishing line first.

The open beta for this unique racing game will feature:

  • 25 single player levels.
  • 10 multiplayer levels to enjoy with friends.
  • Lots of secrets to discover.
  • Around 50 different parts to manipulate the levels.
  • 10 different cars to unlock.
  • Destructible terrain.
  • Unseen art style partially made by the dev’s young children.

Fromto’s open beta will start on 2nd May.

Fromto is a horrible, childish 2D sandbox racing game with in game track building. All players race an unfinished track in turn. When everyone fails all players must ‘work together’ to modify the track before they try again. Think strategic, build sneaky routes and trick your opponents with nifty traps and obstacles. Experiment endlessly with tons of track parts and win in unthinkable ways. Play with up to four friends (online or offline) in this action packed living playground. After you ruined all your friendships you can dive into the single player speed run challenges.
