Much like Ash for over twenty years, Netflix will catch them all; video game adaptation, that is, since the streamer is adding another to their long list of entries.
Joining Resident Evil, Castlevania, and Arcane, Pokemon is now heading to the streamer. Netflix will team with the Pokémon Company to create Pokémon Concierge, an upcoming stop-motion animated series.
The series will follow “Haru, a concierge at the Pokémon Resort, and her interactions with Pokémon and their owners who visit as guests,” the logline says. The series will come from Dwarf Studios, the animation studio behind Netflix’s stop-motion anime Rilakkuma and Kaoru.
In the Pokémon Concierge teaser trailer, you see a glimpse of an adorable little Psyduck waddling across a beach; if this is anything like Rilakkuma and Kaoru, expect the adorable slice-of-life cuteness that Dwarf Studios offers.

“Netflix is looking forward to delighting fans in Japan and around the world with Pokémon Concierge, an entirely new visual and storytelling experience featuring ground-breaking stop-motion animation set in the Pokémon world in close collaboration with The Pokémon Company,” said Minyoung Kim, Vice President of Netflix Content in Asia. “We’re also excited to reveal this new series on Pokémon Day and provide fans with even more things to look forward to on this special holiday celebrating the popular franchise.”
The series is set to premiere sometime in 2023.
