It looks like casting is underway on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, with The Hollywood Reporter revealing that Pom Klementieff (Oldboy) has signed on for a “key role” in the sequel to last year’s box office smash.

Production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to get underway in early 2016, with director James Gunn reuniting with returning cast members Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebulda), Michael Rooker (Yondu) and Sean Gunn (Kraglin).
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on April 28th 2017 in the UK and on May 5th in the States.
