Assemble Entertainment has announced that the latest update for their post-apocalyptic survival city-builder Endzone 2, is available now. The new update adds new expeditions, brings an improved tutorial, new events and much more. The game’s roadmap has also been expanded to add more details to the December update.
When it comes to the world of Endzone 2, many players enjoy the expeditions to mysterious, pre-apocalypse locations and this new update adds two new locations for players to explore. The first takes players to an above-ground bunker called Endzone, while Military Base is a new riddle-based puzzle.
This update also makes balancing adjustments to the radiation effects. Where radiation levels would increase over time and become difficult for players to manage they have now been made more stable and protective clothing items are more effective at keeping survivors safe from environmental radiation.
At the start of new gaming sessions, players are now able to watch an introductory cutscene that introduces the world and the objectives. Although this makes a more immersive experience for players, some will be pleased to hear this is entirely skippable. Finally, there have been a variety of bug fixes, quality of life improvements and minor adjustments made.
Endzone 2’s roadmap has also been altered with more information about the game’s future with a major update coming in December. This upcoming December update will focus on trading and hunting with traders back for good and wildlife roaming the world. Players will also be able to move electricity supplies across different zones.
