Prepare to serve the Emperor this December with Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

September 16, 2023 by Andrew Newton

Owlcat Games has announced they will be releasing their turn-based cRPG, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader on 7th December on Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5, PC and Mac. This new isometric turn-based RPG has players serve the Emperor of humanity and the Imperium in their crusade to exterminate the Xenos and heretics.

As a Rogue Trader in the brutal 40K universe players will be the captain of their very own vessel and make all the important decisions. It’s up to the player to decide who they take on as companions, where their spaceship goes and even whether they want to crusade in the Emperor’s name or follow in the path of a new lord.

Players will take their vessel and companions through the Koronus Expanse, an unexplored and dangerous region far from the safety of the Imperium. Choosing companions will require careful thinking as they are just as important as they are in any other RPG.  There are multiple companions available, including a mighty Space Marine, the Aeldari Ranger and a Sister of Battle. Watch the new trailer below to see some of the choices players will make during the game…

Be prepared to serve or betray the Emperor this December in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader.
