Star Wars: Ahsoka is being written by Dave Filoni, who c0-created the character of Ahsoka with George Lucas and detailed her exploits in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, with Filoni and Jon Favreau producing.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but based on Ahsoka’s appearance in The Mandalorian, we’ll presumably see her continuing her search for Grand Admiral Thrawn, picking up on the closing events of Star Wars Rebels.

Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Society) is on board to play Rebels’ Sabine Wren, although Hayden Christensen will also be back as Anakin Skywalker, pointing to some Clone Wars-era flashbacks (or a Force Ghost appearance to a deepfaked Mark Hamill?). Also featuring in the cast of the series in as-yet-unrevealed roles are Ivanna Sakhno (Pacific Rim: Uprising), Ray Stevenson (Thor) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Birds of Prey).
