DANGEN Entertainment and indie developer Puff Hook Studio have announced that their emotionally charged 2D psychological thriller Recall: Empty Wishes will be launching on PC and consoles on 13th February. Reality and illusion collide in this psychological thriller set in Taiwan in the 2010s. A new trailer celebrating the upcoming release date can be seen below….
Travel back to 2010’s Taiwan and follow Yonny as she sets out to uncover the truth surrounding the disappearance of her beloved brother Tommy. Yonny’s determination to find her brother leads her to a surreal realm that she can connect to via an old toy phone receiver. Using this strange device, Yonny and her friend, Phoebe, are able to enter the memories of individuals that have some connection to Tommy and reveals their deepest desires and secrets.
With interactive 2D side-scrolling, players will journey through moments in the lives of an assortment of characters that are tied to Tommy, and will be able to unravel the knotted threads of mystery, emotion and choices that will eventually lead to the game’s haunting conclusion. Players will travel through an emotionally detailed story where they will experience fantasy, mystery and horror.
