The fifth and presumably final instalment in the Rambo series has received a release date, with Lionsgate announcing that Sylvester Stallone’s Vietnam veteran and all round killing machine John J. Rambo will be back on the big screen in Rambo: Last Blood this September.
The film, which has been in the works since the release of Rambo in 2008, is being directed by Adrian Grunberg (Get the Gringo) and will see Rambo called out of a peaceful retirement on the ranch when he’s tasked with rescuing his friend’s daughter from a ruthless Mexican drug cartel.
