Developer Rebellion has announced the next mainline entry in the series (guessing ‘Sniper Elite 5′), a Sniper Elite VR title, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, and Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition for Nintendo Switch.
V2 Remastered is an updated version of the original 2012 stealth sniper shooter (including all DLC). It is set to be released later in 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo later this year with enhanced graphics, 4K resolution and HDR display. The remaster also adds new playable characters, new photo mode and expanded online multiplayer for up to 16 players.

Next, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition will also be released for the Nintendo Switch later this year. This will include all additional content released for the game, local wireless multiplayer and motion controls.

There is also a new standalone Sniper Elite VR game in development alongside British studio Just Add Water (Oddworld, Gravity Crash). However, there is no scheduled release date but expect a full reveal later this year.
Finally, the follow up to Sniper Elite 4 has been announced but don’t expect a reveal until 2020. Could this be the first next-gen game by Rebellion?
