We’re still waiting on the arrival of the second season, but actor Richard Armitage has revealed to Digital Spy that he’s gearing up to begin work on a third season of Netflix’s animated Castlevania series.
“The second season hasn’t been aired yet, but we’re about to do a third,” said Armitage, who voices the protagonist Trevor Belmont in the video game adaptation.
Amitage also briefly touched upon the second season, stating that much of the focus will be on Trevor’s relationship with Adrian Tepes, a.k.a. Alucard (James Callis):
“The son of Dracula and my character get much more collaborative. I think that’s one of the most exciting things, they start to really work together.”
Season two of Castlevania is set to hit Netflix this summer, and will consist of eight episodes – twice that of the first season.
