Ridley Scott’s The Martian retained top spot at the UK box office in its second weekend, pulling in £3.85 million to push its haul to £13.21 million and counting.
The best of the new entries was Denis Villenueve’s Sicario, which opened in second place with £1,596,734, followed by Robert Zemeckis’ The Walk in third with £795,115. Meanwhile, the thriller Regression also cracked the top ten in its opening weekend, claiming ninth place with £214,742.
