Focus Features has set a release date for their anticipated Nosferatu remake, and now we know precisely when as director Robert Eggers’ latest will drop in theaters on December 25th, 2024.
The gothic horror film will now release near Disney’s live-action The Lion King sequel Mufasa and Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
“The audacious filmmaking of Robert Eggers is always a gift for fans, and we can promise that his Nosferatu is planning quite the Christmas feast,” Focus Features chairman Peter Kujawski said.
Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu is “a gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman in 19th century Germany and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who stalks her, bringing untold horror with him.”
The cast of Nosferatu includes Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, Willem Dafoe, Nicholas Hoult, and Emma Corrin, who also star alongside Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Simon McBurney, and Ralph Ineson.
