It’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan, what with J.J. Abrams currently working on Star Wars: Episode VII, and two spin-off movies in development under directors Gareth Edwards (Godzilla), and Josh Trank (Chronicle). However, on the downside, with three movies on the go at once, that also means we have to suffer through more rumours than we could possibly imagine.
After being linked to Indiana Jones last week, it’s now being reported that Lucasfilm is eying former Twilight star Robert Pattinson for another of Harrison Ford’s iconic roles, with an anonymous source apparently telling Hollywood Life that Pattinson is high on the list of contenders to play a young Han Solo in one of the as-yet-unannounced spin-offs.
As with the Indiana Jones “report”, we’re assuming this is little more than speculation being passed off as rumour. Expect Zac Efron’s name to crop up some time soon…
