Star Wars: The Last Jedi has received some top praise from Ron Howard, director of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The Last Jedi is now in theatres across the world and is doing pretty well for itself. Earning the second highest box office opening of all time behind its predecessor, The Force Awakens, the Rian Johnson directed movie is on track to become one of the most successful movies of all time.
One individual that certainly enjoyed it is Ron Howard, director of the aptly named Han Solo movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. Tweeting at Johnson, Howard said: “Took a break from editing #Solo to see #LastJedi. Great job @rianjohnson cast & crew. The paying crowd our family saw it with cheered & applauded.”

While you might expect a fellow Star Wars director to say nice things, Howard could have just as easily not said anything at all. Johnson definitely appreciated the compliment, and replied with his own tweet, saying simply, “Thanks, Ron!!”
