James Cameron’s sci-fi classic Aliens is to be shown at the Royal Albert Hall this November, complete with a full live orchestral performance of the late James Horner’s legendary score.
“Our film-and-live-orchestra programme for 2016 has proved immensely popular so far, with Jurassic Park selling 10,000 tickets on the first day alone,” states Lucy Noble, Director of Events at the Royal Albert Hall. “Now we’re delighted to reveal the other headline show for November’s film festival: more big blockbuster scares in the shape of James Cameron’s explosive Aliens, with James Horner’s incredible music brought front and centre by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Ludwig Wicki. This world premiere promises to be a spectacular show, and one of the centrepieces of the festival, which will also include a host of special screenings, talks and concerts. Some will be during the day, but audiences will mostly come at night… mostly”
Tickets for Aliens Live are on sale now via the Royal Albert Hall website here.
