Back in October it was rumoured that Marvel had identified Fruitvale Station and Creed director Ryan Coogler to tackle their upcoming Phase Three release Black Panther.
Well, Birth.Movies.Death is now reporting that Coogler is deep in talks with Marvel about boarding the project, which will see Chadwick Boseman taking on the lead role following his debut in Captain America: Civil War.

Just last week, Coogler spoke about the movie, and how he feels it is important for Marvel to secure a black director for T’Challa’s solo debut.
