If there has been one name that has bounded around rumour mills for roles in the new Disney Star Wars Universe, it’s Ewan McGregor.
It was first rumoured that the man who took over from Alec Guinness to play Obi-Wan Kenobi in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy was going to feature in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which turned out to be sort-of true but not as was originally reported) and then it was thought he was going to get his own trilogy of movies, possibly for Netflix.
Well, his name is back in the mix for Star Wars: Episode VIII.
Kristian Harloff of Schmoes Know and Collider tweeted, “Grain of salt: hearing that Ewan Mcgregor in talks to play Obi Force ghost in Episode 8.”

Now if the source of the tweet is telling you to take it with a grain of salt, then should probably be a huge grain you take.
