Back in May, The CW announced that the character of Batwoman will be introduced into the Arrowverse this year with the network’s annual DC crossover between Arrow, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, and now we’ve got three rumoured casting breakdowns for Arrow season 7, the first of which may well be Kate Kane:
According to That Hashtag Show, ‘Angeline’ – whom the site believes could be Batwoman – is described as “a diverse woman in her 30s, and a fierce fighter despite her smaller stature. Not only is she experienced in stealth, ‘Angeline’ is able to wipe out buildings filled with foes all by herself before she is gone like a ghost. It will be made very clear that ‘Angeline’ thinks incredibly highly of her work.”
Next up is ‘Dover’, a recurring character who is “a male in his 30-40s who is teased as a physically intimidating player. Even though he may not be the brightest person in the room, anyone who is in his presence will feel incredibly small.”
Casting is also underway for ‘Leah’, “a 30-something woman who is a world-class mercenary who was born to be a leader. Don’t mess with this one because once you see what ‘Leah’ has in her toolbox of skills, you will see why those are known across the world.”
As yet, there’s been no word as to whether Batwoman will appear in episodes of Arrow or the other shows barring the crossover, but perhaps we’ll get some news this coming week at the San Diego Comic-Con International.
