Harry Potter and Snatch star Rupert Grint has become the latest addition to the cast of M. Night Shyamalan’s as-yet-untitled thriller series set up at Apple.
Shyamalan is executive producing the ten-part series with creator and writer Tony Basgallop, as well as directing the first episode, while Grint joins the previously cast Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones) and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under).
Specific plot details are being kept under wraps, but it has been said that the series will follow two parents, Dorothy (Ambrose) and Sean Turner, who hire young nanny Leanne (Free) to care for their newborn child. Grint is set to play Julian Pearce, the younger brother of Ambrose’s Dorothy.
Grint will next be seen in the Agatha Christie adaptation The ABC Murders, which stars John Malkovich as Detective Hercule Poirot and is slated to premiere on BBC1 this Christmas.
