Last year it was announced that writer-director Drew Goddard is set to team up with Chris Hemsworth and Jeff Bridges for Bad Times at the El Royale, and now we have word of two more additions to the cast.
According to CinemaBlend, Hemsworth revealed during an interview to promote his new movie that both Russell Crowe (The Nice Guys) and Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades of Grey) are set to appear in the film, which marks Goddard’s second directorial effort after The Cabin in the Woods.
Details on Bad Times at the El Royale are being kept under wraps, but it has been described as a “60s noir thriller” and is said to revolve around a rundown hotel in California’s Lake Tahoe region.
In addition to The Cabin in the Woods, Goddard’s screenwriting credits include Cloverfield, World War Z and The Martian, the latter of which saw him nominated for an Academy Award.
