Showtime has unveiled a first look photo from its upcoming limited series The Loudest Voice, which features Oscar-winner Russell Crowe as disgraced Fox News founder Roger Ailes.
The Loudest Voice is based upon Gabriel Sherman’s book The Loudest Voice in the Room, along with his reporting for New York magazine regarding the allegations of sexual harrassment and misconduct which led to his ousting from Fox News back in 2016, less than a year before his death.
Written by Tom McCarthy (Spotlight), the series stars Russell Crowe (Boy Erased) as Roger Ailes, Naomi Watts (Twin Peaks) as Gretchen Carlson, Seth MacFarlane (The Orville) as Brian Lewis, Sienna Miller (Live By Night) as Beth Ailes, Simon McBurney (The Mercy) as Rupert Murdoch, and David Whalen (American Pastoral) as Steve Doocy, and Jenna Leigh Green (Skin) as Irena Briganti.
