UPDATE: The official trailer has now been released, and you can watch it here. Original story follows…
We are finally learning more about Ryan Coogler’s upcoming film, the mysterious vampire period piece. Per scooper, Daniel Richtman, the Michael B. Jordan film is set to be titled Sinners.
Until now, all we knew about the rumored Sinners was that it was a “genre feature” with a “period element to the story,” set in the Jim Crow-era South, and promised some vampire mayhem. It was also rumored that Jordan would play dual roles, and the released synopsis has seemingly confirmed that story.
A rumored brief synopsis reads: “Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.”
Delroy Lindo, Jack O’Connell, Jayme Lawson, Wunmi Mosaku, Omar Benson Miller, Hailee Steinfeld, Lola Kirke, and Christian Robinson will join Jordan in his dual role. The project began shooting in April, and the film is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 7, 2025.
