A leg injury sustained by Ryan Phillippe has forced changes to the production schedule of Shooter.
The USA TV drama debuted last year with its first season but due to a freak accident to star Ryan Phillipe’s leg the production schedule for season two will have to change. Luckily for fans of the series, there will be no delays.
The Cruel Intentions actor commented on the accident via a series of tweets, explaining the situation. He said, “I didn’t injure myself doing a stunt or anywhere near the set of shooter. I was the victim of a freak accident during a family outing,”

Season two of Shooter is set to debut on Tuesday, with production for the 10 part season due to wrap on August 3rd.
Phillippe has promised to live tweet the premiere episode, and took to instagram to share a hospital photo, thanking fans for their concern.

Paramount Television will be adjusting Phillippe’s schedule to accommodate his injury.
