Having signed on to direct World War 3 at Warner Bros. back in February, Sam Raimi has now set up another project at the studio, with Variety revealing that he’s developing an as-yet-untitled action-adventure film.
Going by the working title of Stormfall, the project is is said to centre on a heist during a tornado in the Carolinas. Warner Bros. is currently seeking writers to develop a script, while Raimi is eyeing the director’s chair.
Raimi has not directed a feature film since 2013’s Oz the Great and Powerful, although he did helm the pilot episode of Ash vs Evil Dead, and serves as executive producer on the series. He has also reportedly held talks with Sony this year with a view to directing a remake of the French crime drama A Prophet.
