The Scarecrow heading to Gotham

November 3, 2014 by Gary Collinson

It looks like the producers of FOX’s Gotham are set to add another inconic villain from the Dark Knight’s Rogues Gallery, with executive producer Danny Cannon revealing at Stan Lee’s Comikaze this past weekend that work is underway on an episode that will introduce The Scarecrow.

According to Zap2It, Gotham’s incarnation of the Scarecrow “will be seen as a child, before he takes on the Scarecrow moniker. In fact, it’s something that will be passed on to him from his father, which will create an eventual enemy for Batman while still having a possible adversary for Jim Gordon.”

So, by the sounds of it, we’ll be seeing a young Jonathan Crane, while his father dons the mask as the Scarecrow. Are you excited for the character’s introduction, and how do you feel about this change to his origin?
