Deadline is reporting that Sebastian Stan (Avengers: Infinity War) and Denise Gough (Colette) are set to star in Monday, a new feature from director Argyris Papadimitropoulos (Suntan).
The film follows two self-destructive Americans, Mickey and Chloe, who live in Athens and find themselves plunging into a tsunami of a romance.
“Many people don’t feel like getting involved in intense relationships anymore,” said Argyris Papadimitropoulos. “And that to me is so sad. Chloe and Mickey’s story is a very honest look at one relationship, and in it there are elements everyone will recognize from their own experiences. I simply cannot wait to put the amazingly talented Denise and Sebastian in front of the lens and shoot them in stunning settings, places I know like the back of my hand, and work with a team of producers who have made some of my favorite films.”
Papadimitropoulos has written the script with playwright Rob Hayes (This Will End Badly), while Christos V. Konstantakopoulos (Before Midnight), Damian Jones (The Iron Lady), Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Loving) and Fred Berger (La La Land) executive produce.
