Sebastian Stan says he’s unsure if Winter Soldier is in Avengers 4

November 14, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Actor Sebastian Stan says that he doesn’t know if he will be appearing in Avengers 4.

You would normally assume an actor would know if he will be performing in a film or not but with the way Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4 were filmed, the situation is apparently not that clear.

Infinity War and Avengers 4 were filmed virtually back to back and this appears to be why Bucky Barnes actor Sebastian Stan says he doesn’t know if he is in the next Avengers film or not. Either that or he is just acting coy. Speaking to Collider, he said:

“When I was shooting anything, nobody ever told me what was part one or part two. The truth is, I don’t even know if I’m in [Avengers 4]. What I shot was in part one. And anything that I shot may or may not have been in part one or part two and I still don’t know. There were things that we shot that were never gonna make it because it was easier to just convolute the whole thing. So in a way, you go ‘Alright, that’s cool, but…’ But you know it’s going to deliver on a level that we probably haven’t even digested yet. Because that’s what they do best.”

Would you be disappointed if Sebastian Stan isn’t in Avengers 4? Time will only tell if the actor is telling the truth, but we do know that he could soon find himself on the small screen, with Marvel Studios said to be developing a TV series featuring The Winter Soldier and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) for the Disney+ streaming service.

Avengers 4 stars Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Tilda Swinton (The Ancient One) and Frank Grillo (Crossbones), as well as Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolvervine) and Katherine Langford (13 Reasons Why).
