SEGA is set to take a leaf out of Nintendo’s book this year by releasing a Mini version of its iconic SEGA Mega Drive / SEGA Genesis console.
The announcement was made by SEGA this past weekend, with the MEGA Drive Mini set for release in Japan first, followed by “US and other territories later this year”.
The Mini version of the classic console – which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year – is being created by AtGames, the company behind Mega Drive Flashback, a piece of kit that received mixed reviews upon its release last year.
