Last week’s games charts stats have just been released and it looks as though From Software’s newest game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has crushed the competition, dethroning The Division 2 from the number one spot.
Long time heavy hitters Red Dead Redemption 2, Fifa 19 and Grand Theft Auto V have all maintained a position in the top five slots. However, some of the newer releases have taken a big fall this week in the retail charts rankings. Devil May Cry 5 for instance was managing to land the number six slot the week before last but has since dropped seven slots all the way down to number 13.
The EA published Anthem has had a similarly difficult time and has fallen another four positions down from the 11th spot down to the 15th. This week’s charts haven’t been all bad news for EA though as Battlefield V managed to reach the number 18 spot: this is likely due to gamers hoping to check out the new Battle Royale Firestorm mode that has just been released today.
A few PlayStation VR titles have hit the charts too: this is likely the result of a new VR bundle Sony has released which includes games that have made the chart like: Doom VFR, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR and Playstation VR Worlds.
