The upcoming Pierce Brosnan action film The November Man doesn’t even hit theaters until August 27th, but Relativity Media has already announced that they’re working on a sequel. Brosnan will reprise his role as Peter Devereaux, “The November Man,” a lethal and highly trained ex-CIA agent who’s lured out of retirement. The film is based on a 13-part book series by Bill Granger, so there should be plenty of stories to tell in the new espionage franchise, if it proves successful.
Robbie Banner, president of production at Relativity, commented on the sequel by saying: “The November Man is a gritty series that re-invents the spy genre with its master Pierce Brosnan by combining the best elements of James Bond and Jason Bourne while echoing the cool, sleek action movies of the 70s. We are excited to launch The November Man later this month and to continue to explore Peter Devereaux’s dangerous world with Pierce over the years to come.”

The November Man is set for release on August 27th in the States, with a cast that also includes Eliza Taylor (The 100), Caterina Scorsone (Private Practice), Bill Smitrovich (Iron Man) and Will Patton (Falling Skies).
