Liam Neeson found his career taking a sharp turn into the action genre following the success of 2008’s Taken, but over a decade later – and with many bodies and bullet casings behind him – the actor has admitted during the press tour for his new film The Marksman [read our review here] that time is catching up with him and his action days are numbered.
However, during an interview with People, Neeson has revealed that he may have the opportunity to take his career in another wild new direction thanks to Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane.
“I’ve been approached by Seth McFarlane and Paramount Studios to maybe resurrect the Naked Gun films,” states Neeson. “It’ll either finish my career or bring it in another direction. I honestly don’t know.”
Neeson and MacFarlane have already worked together on a number of occasions on the likes of Family Guy and The Orville, as well as the feature films A Million Ways to Die in the West and Ted 2.
