After scoring a success with Preacher, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are continuing their expansion into TV, with Deadline reporting that the duo have set up two new single-camera comedy pilots through Sony Pictures TV.
According to the site, Fox has snapped up a superhero sidekick project from writer Mike Rosolio (Lemmings), which “centers on an ambitious MIT graduate who gets a job working for a Steve Jobs-esque tech genius, only to learn he’s also a vigilante superhero by night forcing her to become the unwitting Alfred to his Batman.”
Meanwhile, ABC has bought an Illuminati project, which has been penned by Brad Copeland (Life in Pieces) and follows ” a young couple’s struggles to balance marriage and suburban life with the fact that one of them is in the Illuminati.”
In addition to the above, Rogen and Goldberg also have the second season of Preacher on their slate, along with the upcoming Future Man at Hulu, comic book adaptation The Boys at Cinemax, and sci-fi Singularity at FX.
