Seth Rogen and James Franco have been a force in Hollywood for quite some time. The pair have made some cinematic gold, from starring in the underrated TV series Freaks & Geeks to their blockbuster stoner-comedy Pineapple Express. However, it seems like those days are over.
In recent years, there have been several allegations of sexual misconduct made against James Franco, the most recent coming from actress Charlyne Yi. Yi expressed her issues with Franco on the set of The Disaster Artist, even going as far as to call Rogen an “enabler.”
Rogen has now finally addressed this drama in a recent interview with The Sunday Times, saying it’s “not a coincidence” that the pair haven’t worked together in quite some time and he thinks it will be like that for a while, with Rogen adding, “the truth is that I have not, and I do not plan to [work with Franco] right now.”
When pressed about their relationship, Rogen responded: “I don’t know if I can define that right now during this interview. I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”
He also calls this a painful experience, but nothing to what the alleged victims went through: “I have no pity for myself in this situation.”
