Shailene Woodley and Jack Whitehall are Robots in trailer for sci-fi rom-com

Ahead of its theatrical release this May, a poster and trailer have arrived online for directors Casper Christensen and Anthony Hines’ sci-fi rom-com Robots.

The film stars Shailene Woodley and Jack Whitehall as Elaine and Charles, a gold digger and a womanizer who use their robot doubles to trick people into relationships, but when they meet and attempt to scam each other the pair are forced to team up and go in pursuit of their robots who have fallen in love and eloped together.

Charles is a womanizer while Elaine is a gold digger. The duo learn humanity when forced to team up and pursue robot doubles of themselves.

Robots arrives in cinemas on May 19th.
