Shudder horror Spoonful of Sugar gets a trippy trailer

Shudder has released a poster and trailer for the psychological horror Spoonful of Sugar. ahead of its exclusive premiere on the streamer this March.

Directed by Mercedes Bryce Morgan, the film follows Millicent, a “disturbed babysitter experiences a sexual awakening while using LSD to alternatively treat a seemingly “sick” child from a family with dark secrets of their own.” Watch the trippy trailer below…

Millicent (Morgan Saylor) working on her thesis about children with severe allergies, is hired to babysit little Johnny, a sickly, mute child who suffers from every allergy under the sun. As she discovers Johnny’s dark family secrets things begin to become unhinged.

Featuring in the cast of Spoonful of Sugar are Morgan Saylor, Kat Foster, Myko Olivier, Danilo Crovetti and David Yow.

Spoonful of Sugar arrives on Shudder on March 2nd.
