Behaviour Interactive and Konami have announced that the iconic horror game Silent Hill will be making its way to the asymmetrical 4 v 1 game Dead by Daylight as the game’s latest chapter. This latest addition to the game will feature a new Silent Hill-inspired map, a mysterious survivor and a terrifying monster.
The Silent Hill themed map will take players to Midwich Elementary School. Once a testament to the innocence of childhood, this old school building is now a place of horror with stained walls, rusted chains and cadavers hanging from the ceilings.
The hideous and terrifying monster doing the pursuing will be the most recognisable of Silent Hills crazed monsters, Pyramid Head. Known as The Executioner, this hellish creature is a sadistic and merciless killer fixated on dispensing punishment through pain and with his hulking great blade he is likely to cause plenty of it too.
Cheryl Mason, formerly known as Heather, will be the latest survivor to run the gauntlet. She managed to free herself from the religious cult that had pursued her since birth but can she free herself from the school and its evil guardian?
“We are so thrilled to welcome Silent Hill as Chapter 16 of Dead by Daylight. Silent Hill is such an iconic video game licence and to add it to our legendary roster of horror is truly an honor,” notes Mathieu Côté, Game Director on Dead by Daylight and Product Evangelist for Behaviour Interactive. “We hope players will have as much fun discovering this Chapter as we had in making it.”
The Silent Hill chapter for Dead by Daylight is available now on Public Test Build on Steam and will see a full launch on PC and consoles on 16th June.
