Coming off her critically acclaimed role as Lucia in the second season of The White Lotus, Simona Tabasco has joined Sydney Sweeney in the cast of the upcoming psychological horror film Immaculate.
The film will see Euphoria star Sweeney playing Cecilia “a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent. Her warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.”
Italian actress Tabasco made her American debut in season two of The White Lotus, the HBO anthology series which saw Sweeney receiving an Emmy nomination for its first season. She was also recently seen in Netflix’s Italian drama series Luna Park.
