The remaster for Sniper Elite V2 has received a new trailer that shows off many of the graphical improvements that are coming in the game. You can check out the trailer below.
You can also mark your calendars; the trailer provided us with a May 14th release date for the new and improved WW2 sniper simulator. The game, which will include all DLC, will be available on all three major console platforms as well as PC, it will also be available for a “heavily discounted” price on Steam, according to the Rebellion Twitter account, if you already own a copy of the original game. Sniper Elite V2 Remastered will be available for digital pre order on console stores on April the 24th for the price of £29.99 with a 10% pre order discount.
Although the changes to Sniper Elite V2 only look to address graphical issues, there is still a substantial number of things to look forward to. Textures of people, weapons and environments will be getting updated and a 60 FPS mode has been added on some supported platforms; you would guess that this would be for PC, Xbox One X and PS4 Pro.
2019 seems to be a big year for the Sniper Elite franchise. Rebellion, the games’ developers, announced that a total of four new Sniper Elite games were in the works last month, although we know very little about what these might be just yet.
