The Nintendo Switch has not been out for more than a month, but the console has already seen its fair share of controversy. First it was the joy-con controllers not syncing properly, then it was the console’s screen being scratched from the dock, and now… the console itself is apparently warping in some cases. Reddit user “_NSR” first reported the issue in /r/gaming, showing off a picture of a warped Nintendo Switch console:
via reddit.As you can see, the console has slightly warped at (what looks like) the bottom-part of the console. The user in question claims to have mostly used the Switch in dock-mode, and the thread seems to agree that the warping is most likely caused from the heat emitted by the Switch console itself while it is in dock mode for extended periods of time. Basically, the Switch itself is slowly cooking against the plastic dock, resulting in warping.
