Gina Carano, who plays Cara Dune on The Mandalorian, has revealed that some of the season two casting rumours are not true.
There has been plenty of hype and anticipation for The Mandalorian season two, with a lot of it coming from all the casting rumours making their way around the internet.
We have heard rumours that everyone from Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett to Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan will be making an appearance.
For Star Wars fans, these would all be huge if true but it sounds like some of them have no basis in reality. Speaking to EW, star of the show Gina Carano revealed that “Some of them are true, some are not true.”
However, she did go on to say that “heightened secrecy” meant that actors only got to see scripts for episodes that they were actually in, and some actors were hidden on their way to set to protect secrecy.
So, it sounds like fans should not expect every rumor they have heard about the show to be true when tuning in for the second season. Otherwise, there could be some major disappointments on the way.
