Sony developing Goosebumps sequel

April 26, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Sony Picturs is developing a sequel to last year’s Goosebumps movie, Entertainment Weekly is reporting.

As yet, no deals are in place but the studio is looking to bring back Jack Black as R.L. Stine, the author of the bestselling book series, while director Rob Letterman and writer Darren Lemke are also in talks to return.

Released in the States back in October, Goosebumps was a hit with fans and critics alike, and earned $156.7 million around the globe from a budget of just $58 million.
