Yesterday it was announced that Sony has changed its mind about pulling the release of The Interview, with the controversial Seth Rogen / James Franco comedy now set to open as planned on Christmas Day, albeit in select cinemas, as opposed to a wide release.
Now it has been revealed that the studio has also reached deals with YouTube, Google Play and Xbox Video to stream the movie from 10pm tonight PST, while Netflix is also in talks to add the film to its line-up.
The Interview is directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and sees Rogen and James Franco leading a cast that also includes Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Randall Park (Sex Tape), Timothy Simons (Veep) and Charles Rahi Chun (Scrubs).
