THR is reporting that screenwriters Lindsey Beer (Chaos Walking, Godzilla vs. Kong) and Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider) have penned the latest draft of the script for its female-led Spider-Man spinoff movie Silver & Black.
The film – which revolves around the characters of Spidey femme fatales Silver Sable and Black Cat – is being directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood (The Secret Life of Bees), who is now doing a final polish on the screenplay. Prince-Bythewood wrote the previous draft, after both Chris Yost (Thor: Ragnarok) and Lisa Joy (Westworld) had earlier contributed to the script.
If rumours are to be believed, the plan for Silver & Black is to begin shooting next month, which means we should soon get some official casting news on the project.
