A few days after Sony’s announcement of the delays for the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse films, the studio has now revealed that Across The Spider-Verse (Part Two) has a brand new title as the third Spider-Verse film will now be known as Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse.
Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse will hit theatres March 29th, 2024, less than a year after its predecessor Across The Spider-Verse, which has a date of June 2nd, 2023.
Across The Spider-Verse will reunite the new Spider-Man Miles Morales, the alternate Spider-Man Peter B. Parker and Gwen Stacey/Spider-Gwen as they travel across the Spider-Verse to fight off a new threat. Joining them will be Spider-Man 2099 as voiced by Oscar Issac (Moon Knight), who made a cameo appearance in the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, as well as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman as played by Issa Rae (Insecure).
Miles Morales returns for the next chapter of the Oscar®-winning Spider-Verse saga, an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.
Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse features the voice talents of Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, Jake Johnson as Peter. B Parker, Oscar Issac as Spider-Man 2099, and Issa Rae as Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman.
