While we know the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2018 Oscar and Golden Globe-winning animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, is currently in production at Sony, one of the film’s producers has teased the follow-up film is evolving the development on the unique aesthetics and art style.
Taking to Twitter, producer Christopher Miller teased the development of “new groundbreaking art techniques” that will make the first Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film look “quaint.”

Although Miller is dropping hints on the newly revised art style, very little is known regarding the plot of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2, except Sony CEO Amy Pascal has teased the sequel will focus on Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy’s romance in between two universes.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2 is being directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra), while Phil Lord and Christopher Miller will once again produce alongside Avi Arad and Amy Pascal.
